What this is

Asli headlines. Nakli presenters. Cutting chai ke saath.

  • The headlines are asli

Every story comes from an Indian news outlet, and we say which one, on air and on this site. They did the journalism. We just read it out, with the masala on the presenters, never on the facts.

  • The presenters are nakli

They are drawings with synthetic voices who speak Hinglish, written by an AI model. None of them is, or is based on, a real person. They know this, and have strong opinions about the line work.

  • It is comedy, not reporting

The jokes are about the presenters and their rooftop studio, the Tapri, never about the people in the news. Nothing here is financial, legal or medical advice.
